Smart in big and small way
Tupperware was looking to redesign its legendary oil and soy sauce server which is currently a rock starĀ in Asia Pacific. The team was challenged to improve its ergonomics, and pouring experience, and add some special features to it so it stands out from its competitors. During thisĀ 2 year-long process, the team tried numerous bottle shapes, tested dozens of spout geometrics, and explored smart features such as self-pouring and invisible vent holes. The final design is a set of two bottles that fit into the user's hand and allow them to operate with just one hand. The spout is truly drip-free so the user can pour the designated amount with confidence. And thanks to the hidden venting insert, the user will not experience gulping while pouring but at the same time will not find a disruptive venting hole on the cap.
